The two breeds of Welsh Corgis, the Pembroke and the Cardigan, have been recognised as separate breeds for only about 70 years. The protective Cardigan was first brought to Wales by the Celts about 1200 B.C., while it appears that the more social and tailless Pembroke arrived in Wales about 1107 A.D. at the side of Flemish weavers. These small herding dogs are built for endurance and speed. Even-tempered and highly intelligent, they make devoted companions. Both Pembroke and Cardigan aficionados will enjoy this charming weekly engagement calendar. This calendar features 52 full colour images along side planner pages for each week of the year. The calendar begins with a 2009 full year calendarium and ends with a 2010 full year calendarium. It also includes several pages for personal notes.
